Reports coming out of Gaza,Sunday night 26 May, claim that 67 people have been killed due to bombs and explosions in refugee camps in the west of Rafah. <br />The violence is unimaginable, and the smell of death is everywhere. You can save lives in Rafah. Donate Now.The people of Gaza are in dire need of help as they face relentless attacks and a severe lack of essential resources. With nearly 79,000 Palestinians injured, 35,091 killed, and 1.8 million displaced, the situation is critical. 1 in 25 people in Gaza are now injured or killed. The healthcare system is on the brink of collapse due to the lack of fuel, clean water, and limited food supplies, leading to widespread dehydration, starvation, and disease. In collaboration with local organizations in Khan Younis, Deir Al Balah, Zawayda, and Rafah, we are providing daily hot meals to the people of Gaza, having distributed 5 thousand meals so far. Our efforts also include distributing hygiene kits, clean water through water tanks, and offering psychosocial support for children. However, the crisis demands much more. Racial Justice and Equality Fund
As a nonprofit whose core value is social justice and inclusion, we are committed to equality and justice – and these commitments have never been more important than they are today. Hatred, discrimination, and injustice are unacceptable and have no place in our societies. We have seen a rise in xenophobic actions around the world, as the economic and psychological impacts of COVID-19 spread. We cannot stay silent in the face of racial injustice whether it is within our communities or outside of them. No one should feel threatened or afraid because of the color of their skin, or who they are, or who they choose to be. We all have a responsibility to end discrimination and intolerance — and to seek justice, reconciliation, and healing. We stand with the family of George Floyd and the countless other families and communities who have suffered discrimination, hatred, or racial violence. We must stay vigilant and do our part to build toward justice and equality for all people. Our actions, both individually and collectively, can make a difference, especially now. Black people are being murdered and brutalized by police with near impunity. Act with us to end racism, demand racial justice, and defend our right to protest. We abhor racism. We do not tolerate it. Racism and inequality continue to create injustice for too many people in this world. Too many people see their lives and their opportunity threatened by the color of their skin. Your donation will fuel our legal battles and urgent advocacy efforts. INSPIRE YOURSELF. INSPIRE OTHERS. DONATE. SHARE. REPEAT. Contribute and get inspired by the generosity. There are more people who live in slavery alive today than during the entirety of the European/American slave trade. Conservative estimates place this number at over 4.5M people in just Asia, including women and children. The vast majority are in slavery over a medical debt for a life-saving procedure. The initial loans are never more than a few hundred dollars. If they can’t make the payments they are taken as slaves to work off the debt in brick kilns. Fines, interest, penalties, and other unethical charges are levied making it physically impossible for them to ever pay the debt. A debt that is passed down to their children if the parent dies. The average cost is $327 per person. That’s not a typo. People who have been living as slaves, oftentimes for their entire life, are able to go free for $327. Entire families are set free together for less money than a weekend at Disney World. This includes enough to help them get on their feet and help them establish a source of income. The workers live in deplorable conditions, the water they use to mix the soil gives them skin diseases and the hazardous fumes from the billowing black smoke during the brick-making process causes asthma and other diseases and increase the risk of contracting tuberculosis. There are no proper toilet facilities, at the kilns or where the workers live. The women have to go in the open, either late at night or early morning. They are harassed, their photos are taken and these women are then exploited. They have no hope of ever being free until God moved on the hearts of generous conduit donors to pay their debt, which was all from medical bills. Today they are free. More than 250 families have been set free.! Thank you for your generosity in making this possible. If you want to help follow the link below.
