Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Since 1982, Habitat Chesapeake has built and settled nearly 800 decent and affordable homes across four counties in Central Maryland. Our organization provides zero-interest mortgages to qualified, low-to-moderate income homebuyers. We strengthen distressed communities struggling with vacancy and neglect, and we support mixed-income development in emerging neighborhoods.

Maryland Food Bank, Inc.

they supply the food to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and faith-based organizations that serve food-insecure Marylanders. They also supplement this work with outreach programs that provide direct food assistance, educate the public on the importance of good nutrition, and fight hunger through innovative means.
