Nine percent of the children in the Netherlands grow up in poverty. A result is that there is no room for fun outings like a playground, zoo or a movie. This also means that these children don't keep up with their friends at school which risks placing them in social isolation and reduces self esteem. The vision of stichting Samen Lachen is that every child in the Netherlands is entitled to the right to play. Our mission is to organize fun outings for children in poverty to give them a day of fun, and give them a story to tell to their friends. Activities are for the children and their parents free of charge. By donating to Samen Lachen you enable the children to join our activities.
